Marine Reflections-Top Gun Challenge

MONTHLY CASH PRIZE FOR THE LONGEST SPECIES OF THE MONTH.

ENTRY JUST $40 FOR 6 MONTHS

Lengths are accumulated (1 per species) | Any Species can be measured any month to contribute to anglers total length. 

Anglers may only submit one fish per species but bigger fish may replace smaller fish if caught. 

“Top Gun” wins the Ian Milburn Trophy and splits the entry money sweepstakes between 1st-3rd angler (70%, 20%, 10%)

End of Year Average Weight Prize

July – Tarakihi

August – Albacore

September – Wreckfish (Bluenose/Puka/Bass) 

October – John Dory

November – Snapper

December – Kingfish

The leader board will be displayed in the Clubrooms. 

Entry fee covers the entry of all the six named species and must be paid no later than the day prior to submitting your first fish.
Anglers may fish this tournament as individuals including fishing from land, PWCs and kayaks as long as they have comms with Coastguard or a support vessel.

Fish must be caught within TSFC sponsors grid (NZ Chart 54 modified)

Random access permitted (boats may launch from anywhere)
Fish must be caught in accordance with TSFC Club, NZSFC and IGFA rules. Measure only tournament – fish may be kept or released, fish must be measured in accordance with TSFC measure rules.
Any species can be measured any month to contribute to anglers
‘overall combined length.’
