The TOP GUN CHALLENGE is on again!!!
This year we have FANTASTIC monthly prizes for the nominated species each month sponsored by Russell Hardie and Marine Reflections. PLUS the CASH for 1st-3rd in the final sweepstakes points decider! 1st place also wins the Ian Milburn TOPGUN Challenge Trophy!
All entrants compete in the same level with juniors fishing for the adults prizes…lets face it they beat us most of the time anyway!
Species & Minimum Weights:
JULY -Tarakihi (1kg) – AUGUST -Trevally (1kg) – SEPTEMBER -Gurnard (0.5kg)
OCTOBER -John Dory (1.5kg) – NOVEMBER -Snapper (2.5kg) – DECEMBER -Kingfish (1m)

Entry Fee: $20.00 (for all 6 months)
Entry: Entry fee covers the weigh-in of each of the six named species and must be paid no later than the day prior to weigh-in of your first fish.
Teams: Anglers may fish this tournament as individuals including fishing from PWCs and kayaks as long as they have communications with Coastguard or a support vessel.
Fishing Area: Fish must be caught within NZ Chart 54 (mod) and must be weighed in at the TSFC. Random access permitted (boats may launch from anywhere)
Rules: Fish must be fresh and caught in accordance with Club, NZSFC and IGFA rules.
Points: Accumulating ladder total. Highest position 10 points descending. Any species can be weighed any month to contribute to anglers final points.Anglers may only have one fish per ladder at any one time. Bigger fish may replace smaller fish (if caught)
Prizes: Sweepstake Trophy, 1st – 3rd. and 1st place wins the Ian Milburn Trophy! Monthly prizes (Softbait Combo & Socket Set Value $1000) for largest nominated species for the month. If not caught this prize will be drawn. Sweep stakes paid 70%, 20% and $10% respectively for 1st-3rd point leaders (across all species)
Final Weight In: 6.00pm Monday 31 December 2018. Final weigh In for each month nominated species is 6pm the last day of the month.
Results: Russell Hardie Angler Leader board will be displayed in the Club Foyer also on the website www.tsfc.co.nz
