The Big Four

The POLARIS BIG FOUR Competition is our biggest annual competition boasting a prize pool of over $100 000. This years competition is being held between the 24th and 1st July and we look forward to having lots of teams compete for the awesome prizes on offer from our sponsors. Entries are limited to 100 teams so get your team of 4 together and download and return the entry form in good time.

The competition brief.

Each team of four must endeavour to present a wild boar, a wild stag, a male ring neck pheasant and a trout for the weigh in in accordance with the rules of the competition which can be downloaded from this page. Entry fee is $400 for a team of four. Max 4 members in a team.

A Briefing will be held at the Tauranga Sport Fishing Club at 66 Keith Allen Drive,Sulphur Point, Tauranga on Saturday 24th June from 3pm, the rules will be read out from 4pm.This will also be the last opportunity to purchase tickets if there are any available. At least one member from every team is urged to attend the briefing to collect their teams starter pack (worth over $200 including 4x HUNTECH FLEECE TEE’S), and there could be some last minute rule changes.

Weigh in

Weigh in will be held Saturday 1st July from 11am to 3pm.
Weighing will be held in the Car park of the Tauranga Sport Fishing Club, 66 Keith Allen Drive, Sulphur Point, Tauranga
